top ten tuesday | december tbr

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by That Artsy Reader Girl (originally The Broke and the Bookish). For information on how to participate and the topics of each week, click the link!

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday was a Freebie, so I’m doing my December TBR!

A lot of these are reads I’ve already started and want to knock off the list before the New Year, just so I go into it without any books I’m in the middle of. New Year, a fresh start for reading.

Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed

This is a non-fiction collection of letters written in to Dear Sugar (Cheryl Strayed) throughout her time writing the column, and her responses.

Bunny by Mona Awad

Bunny was recommended by one of my favourite Booktubers, Kate Pfeil, who honestly sold me on the premise. As a current English undergrad with a minor in Creative Writing, it hits a lot of marks for me.

My Hero Academia Vigilantes Volume 5&6 by Hideyuki Furuhashi

Apparently this series is wrapping up soon so I’m BIG sad. I’ve really loved the characters, I just hope the concluding arc does justice to them.

My Hero Academia Volume 21 by Kohei Horikoshi

This is the beginning of the ‘should we forgive Endeavour for being a piece of shit father’ arc, which I’m both dreading and anticipating with a fervour I can’t explain.

Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry

Started this one, so far, so good.

No.6 Volume 6 by Atsuko Asano

I have volume 6 and 7, so I’ll probably read both, but I do enjoy having breaks between volumes so I can savour the story, considering there’s only 9 volumes.

Bloom by Kevin Panetta and Savanna Ganucheau

My most anticipated graphic novel release of the year! And I’m reading it in… December. Yeah.

The Summer Is Ended and We Are Not Yet Saved by Joey Comeau

Hells yeah, you know I love a slasher set in a camp that also has a well written bond between a mother and son at the heart of it!

M Train by Patti Smith

I’ve been reading this for over a year, I just want to finally be done with it.

A Little Light Mischief by Cat Sebastian

I’m just under halfway through this novel, but I’m struggling to find the energy to come back to it. It’s not bad, just very mundane. Still, I’m far enough in that I’ll be letting the whole team down if I don’t read it!

If you liked this post, consider buying me a coffee? Ko-Fi.
