Books Read in January 2020

Another late wrap up. I’m still catching up after my semi-hiatus from most things, including writing reviews, so I hope everyone knows there is a lot of content coming out on here the next few months!

January was, as always, a strange reading time for me. I have TBRs set, and yet I still ended up binge-reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy and buying another ten books. Maybe I need to spend less time betraying my own standards and more time writing reviews? Who knows!

Lowborn by Kerry Hudson 🍎🍎🍎🍎

The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas 🍎🍎🍎🍎

Summer Frost by Blake Crouch 🍎🍎🍎🍎

His Bride For the Taking by Tessa Dare 🍎🍎🍎

Call Me Daddy by Jade West 🍎🍎

Pines by Blake Crouch 🍎

The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

West Cork narrated by Sam Bungey and Jennifer Forde 🍎🍎🍎

The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 🍎🍎🍎

Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti 🍎🍎🍎🍎

The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

When We Were Very Young by A.A. Milne 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

M-Train by Patti Smith 🍎🍎🍎

Poems I Sleep Next To by Shelby Eileen 🍎

Now We Are Six by A.A. Milne 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

One Bloody Thing After Another by Joey Comeau 🍎🍎🍎

The Return of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎

The Valley of Fear by S.A.C.D. 🍎🍎🍎

His Last Bow by S.A.C.D. 🍎🍎🍎🍎

This Is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay 🍎🍎🍎🍎

And that’s everything read! I have sooooo many reviews planned, putting out wrap ups with no reviews feels so strange but it’s definitely pushing me to write reviews now.

What did you read in January? Any recommendations you could send my way? I’m no longer shying away from bigger/fantasy/classic books, so that feels pretty great!

Thank you for reading❤
