top ten tuesday | ten books with one word titles

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by That Artsy Reader Girl (originally The Broke and the Bookish). For information on how to participate and the topics of each week, click the link!

Top Ten Tuesday this week is listing books with one word titles.

There’s something about one word titles that capture the essence of a story more than any other title. You essentially have to summarise that book with only a single descriptor, so seeing what decisions are made with these books based on their titles really made me think about the whole process!

1. HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt

2. BUNNY by Mona Awad

This was a fun prompt! I have a new appreciation for titles, and I’m definitely going to make myself think more deeply about the books I pick up based on their titles.

Thank you for reading❤

    1. Thank you! I love Bunny’s cover, all the covers use the red and the bunny in the centre so it’s an amazing minimalist approach! I noticed Circe on your list, a lot of people seemed to have mentioned that one, makes me feel left out 😀
